A Review of the Book "The Wives" by Tarryn Fisher

Title: The Wives
Author: Tarryn Fisher
Publisher: Graydon House Books
Year: 2019
318 pages

If you are a fan of suspense novels, thrilling not scary, then this book is a must. There are not many books that captivate my attention so much that I can read it in one sitting, but this is definitely one of them.

Tuesday, the main character, is married to Seth, but she only gets to see him once a week for 24 hours. She made an arrangement with Seth that she would share him with two other women. However, unlike typical polyamorous relationships, these three women are not allowed to know each other or see each other. Tuesday knows a few facts about the other women, but Seth doesn't share too many details about them. Tuesday loves Seth so much that she agreed to the arrangement and, for the most part, continued to be happy in her marriage.

Until one day, while putting away the laundry, Tuesday found a scrap of paper in Seth's pocket. It was a doctor's note with another woman's name on it! While she tried to put aside the knowledge, having a name of one of the other wives drove Tuesday to start searching the woman out, to dig up information. How could she resist?

Her curiosity leads the reader on an amazing suspense-filled adventure as Tuesday uncovers the secrets in her husband's life. It's a story that captivates the imagination for all 318 pages, right down to the last sentence of the book.

I give this book 5 out of 5 stars and recommend it to everyone. My partner took me up on the suggestion and ended up reading it in a single day. If you do decide to pick this book up, be prepared to not put it down again!
